Islamic Infantry & Archers

48 x Islamic Infantry/Archer figures

These represent Islamic infantry of the Middle East and Spain from the 7th Century onwards into the Crusader era of the 12th and 13th centuries.

What you get are some very dynamic and varied poses. There are options for spearmen, swordsmen and archers, plus you get command figure parts such as standard bearer arms, trumpets and drums to create the loud cacophony that accompanied Islamic troops into battle.

There are 22 individual heads to choose from on each frame giving you 132 heads in total!

The archer figures can be made into spearmen and the spearmen figures can be made into archers, so there is a massive amount of variation can be achieved with this new set.

John's Islamic Infantry Review

These figures were what I expected. Suitable for a variety of periods and Armies. Plenty of extra heads and arms w/weapons, but fewer shields. I also ordered the shield transfers, but the sizes did not completely match.

Another amazing kit!

Another absolutely amazing kit from Victrix. Each piece is full of character and the combinations seem almost endless!

Great Minis

I mean, the minis are great, undoubtedly! Plenty of choice and plenty of extras, the Victrix standard, which is amazing.

My only pet-peeve is a few too many arms either already attached to the body or missing the hand, and thus needing the hand to be glued for the weapon choice. I would rather glue a whole arm (that I can position in different ways) to the main body, with the hand/weapon already attached, than having to glue a hand with a weapon to an arm (more fiddly to glue and more limited re: positioning in some cases).

So please don't separate hands from arms! :)
