Best miniatures ever!

First time different miniatures than Games Workshop Middle Earth range. What a pleasure to paint! Clear distinct features make it easy to see what everything is and apply paint on small details. I was never able to paint so clearly, but now I felt in control for the first time.

They also look great, and are cheaper than Games Workshop. Building them was easy with plenty of options.

I love them so much I bought a second set along with the early imperial Auxilary, and planning on expanding to other Ancient's from the range like Germanians and Hoplites.

Only criticism is that the Roman shield transfers are more expensive than say the Hoplites, where you can get 48 transfers for the same price as the 12 for the Romans. The Romans themselves are also more expensive than the hoplites or Germanians. However, the price is still a lot better than say Games Workshop, and for the quality I cannot complain.

Transfers were easy to apply, I didn't even use Microset or Microsol. Cutting the square out in the middle was scary but all shields were applied succesfully.
The transfers add so much. Painting the Games Workshop horses was a pain and didn't look too good, but with these transfers for the Romans, amazing!

I love that they are marching which is great for peaceful diorama's. In that regard, I hope to see some civilians or workers in the ancient range.
