Persian Unarmoured Archers

These figures do what it says on the tin, and you can create some lovely units with them, though to produce the type of paint jobs seen in the advertising you’d need to be a real expert. Why 4 stars? Well, the figures can be fiddly and frustrating to put together until you start to get the knack. For an old schooler like me, maybe just too many choices of pose, headgear, etc for comfort. But for more modern-minded gamers, this will be more a bonus than a problem.

Excellent models with masses if character & detail. Lots of scope for conversions with used with the Persian cavalry sets. Please keep expanding these ranges!

Lovely guys w surprising variety possible and some excellent command figures. The big spara (shields) are great.

Lots of variety, fit together well. This was my first set, so took a little while to follow the instructions of what options could go where, but great to see the figures come alive as you build them.
