This sheet has a mix of both Pagan and Christian influences in the designs. Christianity was not adopted overnight and only gradually took hold in the mid 1oth Century. The Rus would have been exposed to Christianity through serving as mercenaries for the Byzantine empire.

These figures are amazing. No two figures need be the same out of the 48 included in the package. The detail matches the variety. This set fills a large void in the industry. There are very few Rus figures available for purchase, and those that are are not great. These are! Well done Victrix. Please keep the new sets coming!

Great figures. Sculpts clean and crisp with opportunity for tremendous diversity (nations, armoured and unarmoured), and specialist Varangian guards .Mix well with other sets, especially missile armed vikings. Great job guys!
