Germanic Warriors Shield Designs GERM 1

The only think to be aware of, is these are not the waterslide decals that OG modellers may be used to. They are more like stickers. Read the instructions first and follow them. I didn't for my first one... and it was a disaster. D'oh! A matt acrylic wash over the top will also be of use, as the decals are a bit "plasticky". But having used them, I won't use anything else.

These designs are extremely detailed and quite easy to fit on the shields. The Germanic warriors look very realistic with these shield designs. Cutting around the designs is a little awkward but using curved nail scissors seems to help

A great set of shield transfers. Pay attention to the supplied instructions and you will have no problems. A nice touch is that at the bottom of some shields they are dirty and stained to give the impression they have been rested upright on the ground. This also helps to blend the shield into the groundwork. Little Big Men Studio shield transfers are the best on the market as far as I'm concerned. Colours are vibrant and the designs have a really accurate feel which will greatly add to the overall look of your your Germanic hoards. Highly Recommended.
