Celtic Chariot
This with the angle Saxon set was my first order with Victrix, well I’m blown away the quality and detail of the set is fantastic. I have yet to start the Celtic chariot set but I was so impressed that I ordered the vikings set which arrived today, this won’t be my last order. Superb figures.
The set showcases the usual wealth of finely molded details that Victrix has gotten us all used to; the sheer number of possible combinations of all the various add-ons (even some very nice trophy heads!) assures that you can virtually build an entire army of chariots without excessive repetition. The finished and painted product looks wonderfully intricate, but nonetheless I've found assembly to be rather more simple that the impression gleaned from the instructions hinted at. Overall a truly magnificent addition to any Celtic army... even though my Boi/Insubres shouldn't have any chariots I simply couldn't leave these beauties out of my army.
